To further provide extensive care to Renew clients, we are now providing a new winter service option. This monthly service is available from November through February, allowing your property to continue receiving Renew-quality care and improve its health and longevity.
Our team will provide monthly pruning visits from November to February to ensure that all trees and shrubs are properly pruned. This process encourages uniform growth, maintains appropriate size, enhances plant health, and extends the lifespan of the plantings, preventing them from quickly outgrowing their designated areas. Each month, we will focus on a different category of your specimens to ensure continuity throughout the pruning process.
A significant advantage of performing pruning during the plants' dormant state (through the late fall and winter months), rather than during active growth, is that it minimizes unnecessary stress on the plants. It also allows us to safely prune trees and plants more significantly when needed. Since insects and diseases are dormant during this period, we minimize the risk of pest and disease issues following pruning.
This unique winter service also represents a cost-effective approach to safeguarding your perennial landscape investment by avoiding expensive plant and tree removals due to insufficient maintenance. We will collaborate with you to achieve the desired outcomes for your individual trees and plants, ensuring your satisfaction.
SPECIMEN TREE PRUNING - Landscape specimen trees will be meticulously hand pruned using sharp, sterilized equipment to prevent disease transfer and promote uniform growth, enhance tree health, and improve overall landscape aesthetics.
EVERGREEN TREE PRUNING – Landscape evergreen trees will be hand pruned above ground level to enhance air circulation beneath the tree canopy and improve landscape aesthetics.
ORNAMENTAL HAND PRUNING - Specimen plants will be carefully hand pruned to remove dead wood and correct improper growth habits, maintaining the desired size and shape using sharp, sterilized equipment to ensure no disease is transferred.
PRUNING CLEANUP - Large debris will be removed by hand, while fine debris will be collected using a landscape vacuum.
HAUL AWAY & DISPOSAL - Landscape debris will be cleared from the site and disposed of properly.
This treatment is applied to all trees and plants that are at risk of damage from deer and elk. The repellent helps keep these animals away and monthly application ensures longevity of arborvitae and trees.
